Short version: your originals don’t stick around, results disappear after 72 hours, and nothing is used to train models.
We don’t keep the original image you upload. It’s read in, processed, and dropped — there’s no permanent copy sitting on our servers waiting to be leaked or scraped.
The processed image (the cut-out you download) lives in temporary cloud storage for 72 hours, then it’s deleted automatically.
A couple of things worth knowing:
We do not use your images to train AI models. Not the originals, not the results. NoBG runs on existing models; your uploads aren’t feeding future improvements.
All traffic between your browser and our servers goes over HTTPS. An uploaded image can’t be read off the wire by someone in between.
If you’re wondering whether you can sell or publish the results, that’s a separate question — see Can I use results commercially.
